UK Visit

Image
I have just spent 12 days in UK. I went to look after my new six month old grandson. (I a have a granddaughter who will be 30 next year and another grandson who is 28) so Jacob was a surprise. he is delightful but I rediscovered that for me babies are boring. I enjoy children and love teenagers but babies. I was also reminded how awful the UK can be. Walking the baby  sometimes three times a day was a nightmare. Either there was no footpath and I was terrified that the speeding traffic would terminate both our lives or the pavement was covered in dog shit. I considered making some leaflets saying 'Parking cars on the pavement is illegal' to leave on the many cars which forced onto the road. The good part of my stay was that I indulged in my passion for the cinema. I saw 3 films Of Gods and Men , The Kite Runner and The Kings Speech. All excellent.I have to go to UK again in April. I hope I can avoid The Wedding.

No Time for everything or should that be anything

I am neglecting this blog as I am writing on my other blog Wise Wild Women Write and doing lots of other writing to. I do not suffer from writers' block more like verbal diarrhoea. NB Write about Jan 9th Dimanche.

Other Blogs but my photo

One year I had so many apples that two trees had broken branches. This year it was the plum tree which suffered the same plight. I am learning the meaning of abundance. http://jardinmiranda.blogspot.com/  This is an absolutely wonderful blog well worth following.

I discovered some great blogs yesterday. One was about willow growing and weaving and had 'How To' videos. Another was about a garden with hundreds of photos - mainly of birds. This made me realise that I should put more photos on my blog. I should back track to find text to go with them but here are some of my garden for starters.
